Is PT3 still examined?
PT3 (Pentaksiran Tingkatan 3) is the Form 3 school-based assessment in Malaysia. It has been through several format changes — check with your school for the current assessment structure, as it varies by state and school type.
When should my child start tutoring for PT3?
Starting in Form 2 gives the best preparation. Form 1 to Form 3 builds the foundation for SPM — gaps in early secondary maths or science are much harder to close in Form 4 and 5.
