Who takes SPM Science (Sains)?
SPM Science (Sains) is the integrated science subject for students who are not in the science stream for triple sciences. It covers biology, chemistry, physics and technology topics in a single subject. Science stream students take separate SPM Biology, Chemistry and Physics instead.
What does SPM Science cover?
SPM Science covers the human body, nutrition, microorganisms, biodiversity, cells, chemical substances in industry, chemical reactions, forces and motion, electricity, waves, carbon compounds and cosmology.
Can SPM Science students progress to A-Level sciences?
Students with SPM Science (not triple science) may need to take bridging or foundation programmes before A-Level Biology, Chemistry or Physics. Some colleges accept SPM Science for A-Level entry with a Grade A result.
