What does SPM English Paper 1 cover?
Paper 1 has two sections: Section A is directed writing (formal letter, report, article, speech — 35 marks) and Section B is continuous writing, where students choose one of five prompts for a longer essay (50 marks).
Do I need to study Komsas for SPM English?
Yes — the literature component (Komsas) appears in Paper 2 and covers short stories and poems from the prescribed list. Students are expected to write about themes, characters and language features.
