How is IB Business Management Paper 1 different from Paper 2?
Paper 1 uses a pre-released case study booklet (released several months before the exam). Students should be familiar with the case company — its context, challenges and opportunities. Paper 2 tests all five business management units through structured questions without a pre-released stimulus.
What is the IB Business Management HL Written Commentary?
The Written Commentary is a 1,500–2,000 word analysis of a real strategic issue facing a real business, applying business management theory. It is internally assessed and worth 25% of the HL grade. Tutors help students choose an appropriate issue, research it and structure the commentary.
